Open day Saturday 27th Nov: Lanteglos Bells on view…

The bells at Lanteglos have been refurbished and are sitting majestically in the church prior to rehanging in the week beginning 6th December. Come and see them in the next week – last time for another 100 years – without climbing the tower!

There will be an Open Day on Saturday 27th November 3pm-5pm with bells history on display and refreshments available. Bishop Hugh, Bishop of St Germans will bless the bells at 4pm.

All welcome

The Camel-Allen churches during lock-down…

The buildings are closed during the Coronavirus outbreak, but the church (ie the people) is open even though we cannot physically meet.

We continue to pray for and support one another and our communities. If you would like prayer, would like to talk or are in need practical help or would like to join our mailing list for worship resources please contact the Rector or one of our team.

We are keeping in touch with one another by telephone email and our Facebook page (Camel-Allen Churches) We are worshipping and praying ‘together’ by praying at the same time whilst safe in our own homes.

Daily Morning Prayer at home

At 10am each day we pause to pray – people choose their own format, some use the Church of England Daily Prayer app others a special order of service we have distributed, some just spend some time in quiet reflection and pray in their own words. Whatever suits you – you are welcome to join us.

A simple prayer focus at home: one candle lit daily for each church & community

Sunday services at home

Also at 10am – we worship ‘together’. An order of service with bible reading, a short reflection and prayers is sent out each week by email (or post to those not on email) . We can then say the words – and sing if we dare – at the same time and be united with one another in prayer as we worship our living Lord.
